Psychotherapy is a way to treat a variety of mental and emotional difficulties. The aim of psychotherapy is to help people overcome their problems, to learn new ways of behaviour or to eliminate or control troubling symptoms. Some of the typical problems that are treated through psychotherapy are depression, anxiety, trauma, PTSD, medical illness.
In my work with patients I integrate the most effective psychotherapeutical methods, such as cognitive -behavioral therapy ( CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy ( ACT) and intensive short-term psychodynamic therapy ( ISTDP) and EMDR ( Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
Coaching helps people improve their performance and achieve their goals. It focuses on learning, taking decisions. Coaching is a process when a coach supports the client in making changes in life. A coach and a client work as a team on the areas such as work, business, lifestyle or relationships.
Sometimes we just need to talk to someone, to talk things over.We want someone to listen to us with love, compation and understanding. Such a conversation alone often makes you feel better, makes bad emotions drop, lets you see possible solutions and make long-delayed decisions. Sometimes we can see that something bad is happening to us or our loved ones, but we are not specialists and we do not know whether to worry. In such a situation, it is worth consulting a specialist to find out whether you should take action.
